The Day After
I went to work the next day and saw a co-worker who works in the control center and looked at me and I asked him if he knew what happened. He said yes and it was ok because I complied with regulations about notifing them of the arrest from the jail. That day was difficult because I had meetings with managers and supervisors. I had to right statements of what transpired that evening of the arrest. I had to give them copies of the arrest report and notify them of any court dates. I jumped thru alot of hoops to keep my job. I left work and stopped by daughters boyfriend house where she was and when I arrived she was crying and said she was sorry but she had nothing to be sorry it was all her mothers fault. I then called the Sheriff's Office to set a time to get what I need for the time being. As I was getting my uniforms for work my son began to get upset about the whole situation and the Deputy told him to calm down. The Deputy asked me what happened here the other night and I showed him the arrest reports and witness statements. The Deputy told me "Just be happy your out of that situation"and "You didn't kill them" and I replied "That would have made things alot worse". I said to him "I just want to be done with it". The next day I was served with a subpoena to report to court for a restraining order hearing. Since the arrest I've been staying at Eddie's apartment He has been a real friend and when I get back on my feet I've got to do something nice for him for allowing me to stay with him and his family.

The contents of your mind are baffling. The kids were in turmoil and the officer didn't care about you. He just wanted you to get your stuff and go. The only issue that day was you packing the computer you bought for the kids during the planning of the divorce because you needed 2 computers with no place to live, apparently. But you were affecting the kids, not me. Thumbs up, Mr Quijano!
